ABC's comedy lineup is ready to go the distance.

The Middle, The Goldbergs, Black-ish and Fresh Off the Boat have each received an order for two additional episodes, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The news comes after a strong fall for the four half-hours, three of which had already been picked up for full seasons last May. Despite a lead-in from newcomer The Muppets, sophomore series Fresh Off the Boat received a back-nine order in October.

The additional order brings the episode count for each series to 24 episodes. The extra episodes will help give some stability to the network during the upcoming midseason when several of the show's dramas (see: Quantico, Once Upon a Time, Nashville and Marvel's Agents of SHIELD) go on an extended hiatus to make room for new midseason fare like The Family and American Crime

Fresh Off the Boat will also move up to Tuesdays at 8 p.m. beginning in March after The Muppets concludes its freshman run.
