Watch All the Trailers for Fox's New Shows
Hours after Fox unveiled the first full-length trailer for its Marvel drama The Gifted, the network released full-length trailers for several other first-year series.
The releases were timed to the network's Upfront presentation for advertisers Monday in New York. As part of its 2017-18 season, Fox has six dramas on deck, including The Gifted as well as the hourlong space series The Orville from Seth MacFarlane. Fox also has new episodes of The X-Files, the medical drama The Resident starring The Good Wife's Matt Czuchry and Revenge's Emily VanCamp, as well as the Ryan Murphy drama 911, all set to debut midseason.
The network also has ordered two comedies including the Adam Scott-Craig Robinson half-hour Ghosted and the Will Ferrell-produced L.A. to Vegas.
Take a first look at the new shows below:
A suburban couple's ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
A live-action, one-hour series set 400 years in the future that follows the adventures of The Orville, a mid-level exploratory spaceship, as its crew, both human and alien, face the wonders and dangers of outer space, while also dealing with the familiar, often humorous problems of everyday life.
An idealistic young doctor begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant senior resident who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine. Lives may be saved or lost, but expectations will always be shattered.
A cynical skeptic (Robinson) and a genius "true believer" in the paranormal (Scott) are recruited by The Bureau Underground to look into the rampant "unexplained" activity in Los Angeles — all while uncovering a larger mystery that could threaten the existence of the human race.
L.A. to Vegas
An ensemble workplace comedy about a group of underdogs trying to find their place in the world, set in the very specific environment of a Friday night flight from Los Angeles to Las Vegas — and the returning flight on Sunday. All characters share the same goal: to come back a winner in the casino of life.
