Fox is looking to the U.K. for its next unscripted bet.

The network has ordered eight episodes of comedy game show You're Back in the Room (working title), an adaptation of the British hit of the same name.

Each hourlong installment promises physical comedy and unpredictable results as contestants are challenged to complete simple, everyday tasks, such as frosting a cake or painting a picture, after they've been hypnotized.

The series will begin production in early 2016, with additional details, such as the show's host, to be announced at a later date.

You're Back in the Room debuted earlier this year in the U.K. and is currently the No. 1 new unscripted entertainment series of the year. The show also ended its first season as one of the top 10 series overall, with its second season set to bow next year. The format has been produced in France, The Netherlands and Australia and has been optioned in Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Portugal and Spain.

Tuesday's Child, producer of the original series, is also behind the U.S. version in association with BBC Worldwide Productions. Tuesday's Child founder and Dancing With the Stars co-creator Karen Smith will exec produce.

The order comes as Fox prepares to say goodbye to the longtime cornerstone of its unscripted slate, American Idol. The 15th and final season of the singing competition is set to bow in January. The network's reality plate continues to perform well, thanks to reliable hits such as MasterChef  and its successful spinoff MasterChef Junior. Fox also recently ordered a military-inspired competition series hosted by WWE star John Cena.
