CBS' rookie series Chaos may be suffering from its own chaos.

The rogue spy drama, which debuted just last Friday, was down in the adults 18-49 demo, drawing a 0.9 rating. (Its premiere snagged a 1.1.) The hourlong series dipped in viewership as well, averaging 5.6 million total viewers. Chaos placed fourth in its 8 p.m. time period in the demo, opposite Shark Tank, Who Do You Think You Are? and reruns, only beating a CW repeat of Smallville.

Even solid performers CSI: NY (9.4 million, 1.6) and Blue Bloods (10.3 million, 1.5) -- both down a tad -- couldn't power the network for the nightly demo win. CBS (1.3) ended up tying for second with NBC (1.3).

ABC's Shark Tank (4.6 million, 1.2) remained steady, and the newsmagazines performed solidly, helping the network win the night with a 1.4 rating.

NBC's Who Do You Think You Are? (5.8  million, 1.3) saw a slight uptick, while Dateline (5.6 million, 1.3) saw a downturn.

Fox and the CW aired repeats.
