'Fuller House' Taps New Showrunners to Replace Jeff Franklin
Weeks after ousting Fuller House/Full House creator Jeff Franklin, Netflix has promoted two of his top lieutenants to serve as showrunner on the comedy.
Steve Baldikoski and Bryan Behar — who have served as co-executive producers since the spinoff's launch in 2016 — will take over as showrunners on the Netflix comedy from producers Warner Bros. Television. Franklin was ousted in February amid complaints about his behavior. (The harassment, those close to the situation say, was described as "behavioral" and not sexual.)
Baldikoski and Behar will start on the show's previously announced fourth season. A premiere date has not yet been determined; production begins later this year. The duo have a deep background in comedy, having served as co-exec producers on The New Adventures of Old Christine, 8 Simple Rules, Kirstie and Save Me, while also working as consulting producers on Last Man Standing and Jennifer Falls, among others.
