Michiel Huisman - H 2015

Michiel Huisman has booked his next gig.

The Game of Thrones favorite and Nashville alum has been tapped to star in Discovery's scripted drama series Harley and the Davidsons, the company announced Thursday at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour.

The project is based on a true story and centers on how Milwaukee schoolyard pals William (Bill) Harley and Walter Davidson built — and rode — motorcycles. The series charts the birth of Harley-Davidson during a time of great social and technological change and tells the epic story of how two 19-year-old kids from Milwaukee started a company in their backyard that would go on to become an American legend.

Huisman will star as Davidson.

The part marks his latest small-screen gig following his role as fan favorite Daario Naharis on HBO's Game of Thrones, which he'll reprise in the drama's upcoming sixth season. Huisman's credits include such films as The Age of Adaline and Wild and TV shows including BBC America's Orphan Black, ABC's Nashville and HBO's Treme. He next appears in features Mountains and Stones and 2:22.

British actor Robert Aramayo will co-star as Harley. In addition to joining the cast of Game of Thrones in season six, Aramayo also appears in upcoming feature Nocturnal Animals.

Also set for the drama is Bug Hall, who will play Arthur Davidson. His credits include Revolution, Castle, CSI, Criminal Minds and Masters of Sex

Harley and the Davidsons is produced by Raw Television.
