'Game of Thrones' Soundtrack Preview Hits the Web (Audio)

Fans of HBO's Game of Thrones are undoubtedly still mourning the bloody Red Wedding from Sunday's episode. Could a little music cheer them up?

That's the hope of WaterTower Music, which is previewing the season three soundtrack ahead of its July 9 release. The soundtrack from Grammy nominee Ramin Djawadi features two alternate versions to the show's theme ("Dark Wings, Dark Words" and "For the Realm) as well as a contribution from indie rockers The Hold Steady (“The Bear and the Maiden Fair”).
