George Clooney Talks Home Cooking, New Netflix Movie and Flowbeeing His Hair

George Clooney appeared in-person on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, where he talked about his new Netflix movie The Midnight Sky, Flowbeeing his hair and home projects during quarantine.

The actor said that, amid the pandemic, he turned his office into a nursery and spent time at home with his family doing household chores like laundry, mopping and washing the dishes. But also, he wood-stained his entire house.

As the family chef, he cooked a Thanksgiving meal that included turkey and yams in brown sugar. His secret: "Butter." Clooney explained that his wife cooks much less often, but instead she can get journalists out of jail in foreign countries.

Kimmel brought up the fact that Clooney has been in the news lately for an unusual reason: he uses a Flowbee to cut his own hair. "I've been doing it for years," laughed the actor. They busted out their Flowbee devices to show the audience incase they were unfamiliar.

Of The Midnight Sky, which also stars Felicity Jones and Kyle Chandler, Clooney said the post-apocalyptic film is about "regret" and "redemption." He went on to tease a major theme, "There is a huge part of the story that is about our inability to communicate.

The little girl in the film, Caoilinn Springall, had never acted before, but Clooney recalled that all of her scenes were performed with one take — she was that good.

The Midnight Sky premieres Dec. 23 on Netflix.
