'Gilmore Girls' Grad Keiko Agena Joins 'Colony' Season 2

With a little over a week before the premiere of Netflix's Gilmore Girls revival, one of the show's stars has lined up her next gig.

Keiko Agena has signed on for a recurring role on the upcoming second season of USA Network's Colony, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Additionally, The Last Ship alum Paolo Andino and Boy Meets World grad William Russ will recur on the sci-fi drama.

Agena will play Betsy, a co-worker of Will Bowman (Josh Holloway) and Jennifer (Kathleen Rose Perkins) at Homeland Security. One of the few friendly faces they can rely on, Betsy finds herself in a compromising position as the politics of the Occupation take a dark turn. Best known for playing Lane Kim on Gilmore Girls and the upcoming revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Agena's other credits include Scandal, ER and Shameless. She is repped by Joseph Le Talent Agency and LINK Entertainment.

Andino will portray Howard, a Redhat whose loyalties are tested when he meets Broussard (Tory Kittles). The actor's other credits include The People vs. O.J. Simpson, Criminal Minds, Scandal, Ray Donovan, Jane the Virgin and Modern Family. Andino is repped by Caleigh Vancata of Schiowitz Artists Management.

Russ will step into the role of Hennessey, a seen-it-all ex-spy who always had more brains than brawn and now serves as a lateral bridge between the many Resistance cells. His privileged and dangerous position allows him to help Broussard unravel one of the big mysteries surrounding the Los Angeles bloc’s purpose. Best known for his role on Boy Meets World, Russ' other credits include Scandal, 90210 and NCIS. He is repped by John Kelly from Bresler-Kelly & Associates.

The trio join Adrian Pasdar (Heroes), who also recurs on the drama from Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal. Sarah Wayne Callies, Peter Jacobson, Amanda Righetti, Jacob Buster, Isabella Crovetti-Cramp and Alex Neustaedter also star..

The second season of Colony is set to premiere Thursday, Jan. 12, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on USA.
