She will play the former Republican vice presidential candidate in HBO’s upcoming Game Change.

The first footage of HBO Films' 2008 election telepic Game Change has arrived and offers the first glimpse of Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin.

In the short promo, Moore delivers the words that would go on to change politics when Palin says, "I will be honored to accept your nomination for vice president of the United States."

Based on the best-selling book of the same name by John Heilemann and Mark Halperin, Jay Roach directed the project, which was written by Recount's Danny Strong.

STORY: Julianne Moore to Play Sarah Palin in HBO's 'Game Change'

The telefilm, due in March, stars Ed Harris as John McCain and Woody Harrelson as his campaign manager and marks the latest in a long line of politically themed fare from HBO Films.

Recount, which chronicled the Florida ballot recount that followed the 2000 presidential election, collected Emmys for Roach, who directed; TV movie; and editing.

The network also has achieved critical and awards season success with other political fare including House of Saddam and The Special Relationship, among other projects.

Sarah Paulson, Peter MacNicol, Larry Sullivan, Melissa Farman and Jamey Sheridan co-star.
