HBO's 'Angry Boys,' 'The Life and Times of Tim' Premiere in December

Both comedies will air Monday nights this winter.

HBO has announced the Angry Boys premiere and the return of The Life and Times of Tim.

Angry Boys, from Summer Heights High creator Chris Lilley, opens its 12-episode season on Monday, Dec. 5. The mockumentary-style series revolves around the lives, dreams and aspirations of men in modern society, centering on six characters all played by Lilley. They range from teenage twin boys to a young Los Angeles rapper.

Executive producers on Angry Boys include Lilley, Laura Walters and Debbie Lee.

The Life and Times of Tim returns for its 10-episode third season on Monday, Dec. 19. The animated comedy, created by Steve Dildarian, centers on an average guy whose instincts continue to lead him down the wrong path.

Executive producers include Dildarian, Tom Werner, Jimmy Miller, Mike Clements and Leynete Cariapa.
