The Hollywood Reporter continues its push into the podcasting space with the newly launched TV's Top 5.

Debuting on Fridays, the weekly podcast is hosted by THR West Coast TV editor Lesley Goldberg and chief TV critic Daniel Fienberg and will make sense of the week's biggest headlines, as well as provide a critical guide of what to watch (or skip, as the case may be).

Each episode will feature five topics that are top of mind in the TV industry for the week. The first episode of TV's Top 5 features a discussion about the Golden Globe nominations — and hosts Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg — (starting at the 21-second mark), and covers the controversy surrounding Oscar host Kevin Hart and his history of homophobic tweets (12:32).

Goldberg and Fienberg also go inside Netflix's $80 million Friends deal and its future on the platform (20:32); the push from networks and streamers for multiple-series franchises (26:16); and, in a regular critic's corner spotlight, season two of Amazon's Emmy-winning Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (28:38).

TV's Top 5 joins a rapidly growing roster of THR podcasts. The lineup includes Awards Chatter, Scott Feinberg's weekly in-depth interview show focusing on the most interesting talents of the Oscar and Emmy seasons; crafts expert Carolyn Giardina's weekly series, Behind the Screen, which explores the top artists and technologies creating film and TV magic; and Seth Abramovitch's monthly series, It Happened in Hollywood, which revisits indelible moments from 90 years of THR's entertainment history. Other podcasts are in the works.

Hear it all now on TV's Top 5 — and be sure to subscribe to the podcast to never miss an episode.
