James Corden Rants About 'Game of Thrones' Finale "Spoiler Alerts"
James Corden has a bone to pick spoiler alerts.
After Sunday's bloody Game of Thrones finale, Corden noticed a lot of people were upset that one major death was spoiled on Twitter. He noted saying "spoiler alert" doesn't actually fix the problem of spoilers, or excuse the people who spoiled it.
"Just because you say spoiler alert doesn't make you less of an ass," Corden said on Monday's Late Late Show. "You're still about to spoil something. It's like somebody saying 'no offense' or 'no disrespect' or 'I'm not racist, but …' You'll never hear, 'I'm not racist, but it's too hot for soup.'"
Corden then demonstrated "how awful" he was at interviewing by showing a clip of him attempting to pump Kit Harington (Jon Snow) for finale details last week.
Spoiler alert: If you don't know who died in the season five finale, Corden's monologue will spoil it.
