Grace and Frankie stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin comically struggled to play a game of password during their Monday night appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Teaming up against Fallon and Riverdale’s Cole Sprouse, Fonda and Tomlin were to quick to share quips about each other. During their first round, Fonda instructed Tomlin to focus despite it being difficult for her. "I’m kind of obsessed with looking at that bandage," Tomlin joked after Fonda revealed she had a cancerous growth removed from her lip.

“We can do this,” Tomlin assured Fonda, only for Fonda to mistakingly interpret her affirmation as a clue and guess the word, "team." Tomlin then comically asked whether she could offer a clue that rhymes with the word "yuck," only for Fallon to mention, “In fact, on television you can’t say...I gotcha,” leaving Tomlin to smirk. The actress proceeded to say the expletive, after which Fallon then demanded she put “a quarter in the jar.”

For his turn, Fallon then acted out his clue to Sprouse, only for Tomlin to accuse the late-night host of “saying the word.” “I’m carrying this team right now,” Sprouse joked, after Fallon lost a point for using a similar clue to the one Tomlin offered.

While Fonda began to give a clue to Tomlin for the word "lollipop," the actress began to lick her lips and finger, only for game moderator Steve Higgins to remind them they were on a “family show.” “You’re giving me so many choices,” Tomlin joked of Fonda’s clue.

When Tomlin failed to guess the word, Sprouse attempted his own clue, joking, “We’ve already had this erotic experience. It’s my turn."
