Jeff Dunham is heading to NBC.

The network announced on Thursday that it is giving the ventriloquist his own special, Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood. The hourlong program will air on Thursday, Sept. 17, and feature new standup, behind-the-scenes sketches and, of course, Dunham's small company of puppets.

"NBC has been very good to me over the years," said Dunham, "and it's a true honor to have a special on the network. Walter, [Dunham's curmudgeonly old man character] said he's looking forward to performing again in the showbiz/divorce capital of the world."

The event itself will tape on Aug. 19 at Hollywood's Dolby Theater. Guests already on board include Brad Paisley, Chris Parnell and Chuck Liddell.
Dunham has had multiple Las Vegas residencies, world tours and north of 7 million DVDs sold. He is repped by LEG, UTA, Morris, Yorn, Barnes and Levine.
