'Daily Show's' Jessica Williams on Replacing Jon Stewart: "I'm Not Hosting"

After Jon Stewart announced he would be stepping down as host of The Daily Show this year, correspondent Jessica Williams quickly emerged as one of the most popular options to replace him.
Many fans and writers online said Williams should take over. There's even a petition with nearly 14,000 signatures asking that Comedy Central make her the host.

On Thursday, a clip also emerged from the upcoming time-travel film Hot Tub Time Machine 2, in which Williams is hosting The Daily Show in 2025.
But Williams tweeted Sunday night that she won't be taking over this year, at least not if she has anything to say about it.
