John Najarian and Jen Neal Upped at E! and Esquire
E! and Esquire are promoting two senior execs.
John Najarian has been named executive vp news and digital for E!, where he'll take on oversight of the network’s news division. Meanwhile, Jen Neal has been named executive vp marketing for E! Entertainment and Esquire Network, where she'll add oversight of brand strategy and marketing for Esquire to her existing responsibilities as head of E! marketing.
Najarian and Neal will report to Adam Stotsky, E! Entertainment general manager and president of Esquire Network, who announced the executive appointments today. "I’m excited to expand the roles of these talented executives, whom I respect tremendously," said Stotsky. "John has led E! to extraordinary success in the digital space and, as we propel E! into its next chapter, he is the right leader to harness that momentum across the network’s news entities and help us reach new heights across every possible platform. Jen has done an outstanding job at E! and I look forward to bringing her wealth of brand expertise and unique creative vision to Esquire."
After stints at AOL and Disney, Najarian joined E! in 2001 and has been integral to the network's digital growth and business development, including its position in mobile and social media, its licensing of digital video, and the development of original digital productions. The move will expand Najarian's purview to include oversight of all news information programming for E!’s linear network. He'll continue to lead all digital initiatives for E! and will unify the network’s news entities across all platforms.
Before joining the network in 2012, Neal served as chief marketing officer for BBDO North America. In addition to her role as executive vp marketing at E!, Neal's expanded role will include overseeing advertising, media strategies, creative, brand alliances, promotion and integrated marketing across all platforms for Esquire Network.
