A 15-year-old boy struck by a car carrying Lamar Odom has died from his injuries, TMZ reported.

The teenage pedestrian was hit by a car Thursday in New York that was taking Odom to his cousin's funeral. Odom's driver -- who was hired through a car service -- also collided with a rider on a motorcycle, which was propelled into the boy. He and the motorcyclist were both rushed to a Queens hospital to be treated for their injuries.

The teen's family told TMZ that he suffered major head injuries as a result of the accident and had emergency surgery, but he died the next day. A funeral took place earlier Monday.

Odom, who is married to Khloe Kardashian, wasn't hurt in the accident, a Kardashian rep told E! News. He was riding in the backseat, but his wife wasn't in the car at the time.

Odom joined the Lakers in 2004 after playing for the Miami Heat and Los Angeles Clippers.
