Nickelodeon said Wednesday that Seattle Seahawks' two-time Super Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson will host its second annual Kids' Choice Sports Awards.

The show is set to air live Thursday, July 16, from 8-9:30 p.m. ET (tape-delayed on the West Coast) from UCLA's Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles

Michael Strahan, who hosted last year's show, will continue to serve as executive producer on the show, which, like the Kids' Choice Awards, features stars — and athletes — winning awards voted on by kids and getting slimed.

"What an honor to be the king of slime for one crazy night!" Wilson said. "I had so much fun at the show last summer that I can't wait to get back. What kid doesn't want to get slimed? Count me in on that. I'm just a big kid at heart, so let the fun begin. I promise you, we're going to have great fun."

Wilson has won more games in his first three seasons than any quarterback in the history of the NFL, and he is first quarterback to start two Super Bowls in his first three seasons. He also became the third-youngest quarterback in NFL history to win the Super Bowl.

In 2013, Wilson led the Seahawks to its first ever Super Bowl victory and then led the Seahawks to their second consecutive Super Bowl appearance in 2014.

Kids' Choice Sports 2015 is produced by Done and Dusted in association with Nickelodeon Productions. Jay Schmalholz and Shelly Sumpter Gillyard are executive producers. Constance Schwartz and Michael Strahan of SMAC Entertainment also will serve as executive producers, alongside Ian Stewart and Hamish Hamilton of Done and Dusted, with Hamilton also directing the show.
