Lady Gaga Talks Her 2011 VMA Performance, Gives Props to Adele (Video)

"You will not be disappointed," Gaga says.

On Thursday, MTV announced that pop singer, Lady Gaga, will be opening the 2011 Video Music Awards on Sun. Aug. 28. The star took a moment with MTV News’ Sway and a handful of little monsters to talk about how the performance will relate to her last one on the VMA stage in 2009.

"I would say that my life is one continuous performance," Gaga says of what she has planned for this year. "And that, in a way, all performances of mine relate to one another. And you will not be disappointed."

She also gave props to fellow VMA performer, Adele, saying, “I think she’s wonderful.”

“She’s very nice,” Gaga continues. “I know that sounds strange, but you meet so many people and many of them are not very nice. And you meet Adele and she’s an extreme exception. She’s wonderfully nice.”
