'Last Week Tonight': Larry David Makes Cameo in Season 4 Promo
Last Week Tonight is returning for its fourth season next month and a new promo for the HBO comedy news program features a few familiar faces.
Host John Oliver visits a few sets from assorted HBO shows, each time believing the announcer is talking about his program before realizing, no, not yet.
The kicker is when Oliver runs into Larry David, who is making his return to the premium cable network in new episodes of the fan favorite Curb Your Enthusiasm.
"What have you been doing?" Oliver asks David. "Things." he replies.
Oliver, former corespondent and one-time fill-in host for Jon Stewart at The Daily Show, concluded season three of his weekly half-hour program in November with an epic middle-finger segment to a depressing 2016.
Among topics tackled last season were voter ID laws, abortion, the Democratic and Republican presidential primaries and the U.S. primary process, charter schools and school segregation.
Last Week Tonight premieres Feb. 12.
