The Jinx is one of the biggest watercooler hits of 2015 so far, and now Law & Order: SVU is hoping to parlay that buzz into ratings gold.

In its two-hour season premiere, the NBC procedural will rip from the headlines surrounding alleged killer Robert Durst, who was at the center of the six-part HBO documentary.

Much like Durst, the episode revolves around a wealthy New Yorker suspected of multiple murders despite the lack of physical evidence tying him to the crimes. And just like in the finale of The Jinx, which included audio of Durst confessing that he "killed them all," a moment in the newly released SVU promo teases a confession made by the suspected criminal. (Durst was arrested the day before the finale aired in June on a first-degree murder charge and is being held in a prison mental health unit near New Orleans.)

"This is the one America will be talking about," the promo teases. "Again."

As first reported by The Hollywood Reporter, The Walking Dead alum Dallas Roberts will reprise his role as killer Greg Yates in the season premiere.

Law & Order: SVU's new season premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
