Turns out Lifetime wants Jennifer Love Hewitt on its client list full-time.

The cable network has ordered 10 hourlong episodes of The Client List, the 2010 telefilm that starred the former Ghost Whisperer actress.

Client List will star Hewitt, reprising her role as Sam Horton, a housewife in a conservative Texas town who takes a job at a day spa to make ends meet who quickly realizes that the parlor’s employees are prostitutes servicing prominent members of society. In an effort to keep her home out of foreclosure, she turns to prostitution.

“Beloved by viewers, Jennifer Love Hewitt is an amazing talent on and off the screen and we are very excited about continuing our relationship with her on The Client List,” Lifetime Networks president and GM Nancy Dubuc said in a statement announcing the news. “This project falls in line with our strategy to expand Lifetime’s slate with unapologetic programming that will surprise audiences.”

The July 2010 telepic was Lifetime’s highest-rated program for the night, drawing 3.9 million total viewers and earned Hewitt a Golden Globe nomination for best actress in a mini or movie.

Hewitt will reprise her role and executive produce the hourlong series, with Lifetime eyeing a 2012 premiere.

As part of the project, Lifetime has entered into a first-look development deal for both series and movies with Hewitt’s production company Fedora Films. As part of the deal, Hewitt will also direct a future movie for the cabler.

Dannielle Thomas, Howard Braunstein, Michael Jaffe, AJ Rinella and Jordan Budde will executive produce alongside Hewitt, with Fedora Films producing.

“I am thrilled to be working with the fantastic team at Lifetime again,” Hewitt said. “Jordan Budde has written a show that truly reflects the spirit of the movie and I am looking forward to an amazing partnership with Lifetime as both a producer and actress. After hearing Lifetime’s vision for the new direction of the network, as well as the amazing level of talent they are working with, I knew I wanted to partner with them in making quality television.”
