'Love Actually' Reunion Trailer Unveiled

Reunited and it feels so good.

The first trailer for the highly anticipated Love Actually reunion was unveiled Wednesday, with many of the familiar faces from the 2003 film reprising their roles.

The trailer for the reunion, which will air in May, features castmembers Andrew Lincoln, Keira Knightley, Hugh Grant and Liam Neeson, among others. Inspired by Lincoln's famed scene in the film, in which his character professed his love for Knightley's character (his best friend's wife), the actors hold giant poster boards teasing what to expect and, as Knightley puts it, to see who's aged the best.

Other returning castmembers include Bill Nighy, Rowan Atkinson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lucia Moniz,Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Olivia Olson and Marcus Brigstocke. Two not returning are Alan Rickman, who passed away in January 2016, and Emma Thompson, who played Rickman's wife in the film. When asked about her absence from the sequel, Thompson recently told press it was "too soon" after Rickman's passing.

First announced last month, the sequel hails from Love Actually writer-director Richard Curtis, who helped start the Red Nose Day Campaign in the late '80s to help end child poverty. NBC first began airing its own Red Nose Day special in 2015.

The Red Nose Day, Actually short will debut in the U.K. later this month before premiering stateside May 25 as part of NBC's annual Red Nose Day telecast.
