Gilmore Girls fans, get ready to meet The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

Amazon unveiled the first trailer for the forthcoming hour-long comedy from Gilmore Girls exec producers, writers and directors Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino.

Starring House of Cards alum Rachel Brosnahan, the series is set in New York in 1958 and centers on Miriam “Midge” Maisel, a woman who has everything she’s ever wanted — the perfect husband, two kids and an elegant Upper West Side apartment. But when her life takes an unexpected turn, Midge discovers a previously unknown talent. She subsequently storms the world of stand-up comedy — a path that will ultimately lead her to a spot on Johnny Carson’s couch.

The cast includes Emmy winner Tony Shaloub, Family Guy's Alex Borstein, The Sopranos grad Max Casella and Two and a Half Men's Marin Hinkle, with guest stars including Jane Lynch and Wallace Shawn. Behind the scenes, Dhana Gilbert will also exec-produce the series with Sherman-Palladino and Palladino.

Along with the trailer, Amazon revealed that the series will premiere Wednesday, Nov. 29.

The series first debuted on Amazon Prime as a pilot in March before earning a rare two-season pickup at the streamer. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel marks the the husband-and-wife team's first original series since the hit Gilmore Girls revival for streaming rival Netflix, which also premiered in late November. The series is a big swing for Amazon after the recent cancellations of other period hour-long series like Z: The Beginning of Everything and The Last Tycoon.

The Palladinos also recently signed an overall deal with Amazon Studios.
