MasterChef has scored a not-so-surprising renewal at Fox, one that will bring America's most-watched cooking show to season 10.

The next season of the competition series, averaging 6.4 million viewers in its current ninth season, will air at some point during the 2018-19 broadcast season — one that will likely see Fox finally separated from its sister studio and enter its next phase with an eye on live and unscripted entertainment.

Produced by Endemol Shine, MasterChef stars Fox's unscripted golden boy Gordon Ramsay, who also has MasterChef Junior, Hell's Kitchen and the recently renewed newcomer 24 Hours to Hell and Back. Season 10 will also see the addition of Natalka Znak as executive producer.

The two-hour ninth-season finale of MasterChef is set to air Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.
