Headspace co-founder Andy Puddicombe will narrate all eight episodes of the Netflix series.

Headspace, the popular mediation app, is getting its own Netflix series.

The company is making three new shows for the streamer, which will all launch in 2021. The first of the trio, Headspace Guide to Meditation, will premiere Jan. 1, with Headspace Guide to Sleep and an untitled interactive experience following later in the year.

Headspace Guide to Meditation will explore the foundation of meditation and how it can help people be more present and less distracted in their daily lives. Each episode focuses on a different benefit — from managing stress to embracing gratitude — and begins by teaching the approach and techniques, before concluding with a guided meditation.

Headspace co-founder and former Buddhist monk Andy Puddicombe will lead the series. He'll narrate the eight 20-minute episodes, his voice paired with playful animation and soothing music. The series will also be subtitled and dubbed in 30 languages.

The three original series will be produced by Vox Media Studios and Headspace Studios. Executive producers include Chad Mumm, Mark W. Olsen, Chris Grosso, Puddicombe, Sam Rogoway and Morgan Selzer. News of the show was announced in a blog post this morning written by Netflix vp unscripted and documentary series Brandon Riegg and Puddicombe.
