There's yet another staffing change taking place on ABC's The View.

Michelle Collins has been fired from the morning talk show, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Collins joined the show's 19th season in July 2015 following a trial run in which her brand of commentary and humor were well-received. Following her full-time appointment, her onscreen presence was reduced to one or two appearances per week. She will remain on The View through the end of the summer; her final date has not yet been determined.

The news comes amid a turbulent few seasons on The View after the departures of co-hosts Rosie O'Donnell, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez following Barbara Walters' retirement. Meanwhile, co-host Whoopi Goldberg is expected to re-sign a new deal to remain on board as moderator.

As part of the show's creative makeover, ABC Television Group president Ben Sherwood enlisted a new behind-the-scenes team including executive producer Candi Carter and consultant Hilary Estey McLoughlin.

It's unclear if there will be any other onscreen changes as The View heads into season 20.
