Michelle Dockery - H 2015

Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery has found her follow-up TV role.

The actress has been tapped to star in TNT drama Good Behavior, which has landed a pilot order at the Turner-owned cable network.

Based on the Letty Dobesh books by Blake Crouch, the drama will reunite the author with Wayward Pines EP Chad Hodge. Dockery will star as Letty Dobesh, a thief and con-artist whose life is always one wrong turn, one bad decision from implosion — which is just how she likes it. Fresh out of prison, Letty is attempting to stay afloat — but when she overhears a hitman being hired to kill a man's wife, she sets out to derail the job, setting her on a collision course with the killer and entangling them in a dangerous and seductive relationship.

The role will mark her follow-up to Masterpiece's Downton Abbey, which has earned her three straight Emmy nominations. She's repped by WME, Anonymous Content and Hamilton Hodell. She next will be starring as Madame de Tourvel in the stage production of Dangerous Liaisons at the Donmar Warehouse in London.

For Hodge, this marks the third Crouch book he's developing for TV. In addition to Fox's Wayward Pines — which is mulling a second season — he's also adapting the author's Abandon for USA Network. Hodge is with WME and Fuller Downs; Crouch is with Cheng Caplan Co. and InkWell Management.

For TNT, the drama joins a pilot roster that also includes Titans, its cocaine drama and Lumen.
