Mike Myers Inks Overall Deal at HBO

Mike Myers is laying down roots at HBO.

Just 24 hours after Amazon announced it had inked a deal with Woody Allen, the premium cable network announced it had inked an overall deal with the bold-faced performer, whose resume ranges from Saturday Night Live to Austin Powers. The two-year pact includes includes TV exclusivity. 

“Mike Myers is one of the great comedy minds of this or any other era. The opportunity to collaborate with a talent of his stature is tremendously exciting,” said HBO programming president Michael Lombardo in a statement announcing the news Wednesday, with Myers adding simply: "I'm thrilled to be at HBO."

Myers, whose most memorable roles include Wayne Campbell, Austin Powers, Dr. Evil and Shrek, recently made his directorial debut with the documentary, Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon, which chronicles the life of talent manager Shep Gordon

Myers, whose other credits include So I Married and Axe Murderer and Inglorious Bastards, is repped by WME and Untitled.
