One of five country acts (six if you count Taylor Swift) to make the list, Brad Paisley's tour brought in $33,794,719 this year.

It's a family reunion on ABC's Nashville.

The country music-set soapy drama has enlisted the services of Grammy winner Brad Paisley, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The singer-songwriter will guest star in the Connie Britton starrer's freshman season finale, set for May 22. During the episode, Paisley will play himself and perform alongside Britton's Rayna and Deacon (Charles Esten).

He'll join his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley -- who stars as Rayna's soon-to-be ex-husband Teddy's (Eric Close) mistress -- on the music-themed series from exec producer Callie Khouri.

Paisley's appearance marks the first high-profile singer-songwriter to guest star on the series in a musical capacity (Will.i.am had a non-performing arc as a record producer).

"We're focused on our cast of real country artists -- it's not a guest show; the fabric of Nashville is the fabric of our show," exec producer R.J. Cutler told reporters in January, noting the series would stay true to its country roots vs. high-profile guest stars. "The musicians in the pilot are real Nashville musicians who are greatly respected there, and known and known by country music people there."

Extra first reported the news.

Nashville airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
