An NBC spokesperson confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that Angus MacFayden assumes the role as the series’ final major villain, as first reported by TVLine.

The actor will play Nicholas Quinn, a former CIA agent who like Chuck has become a spy for hire, for a multiple episode arc. The difference is he exclusively works for the bad guys.

The actor is best known for starring alongside Mel Gibson in 1995’s Braveheart. He has also appeared in the third and fourth installments of the horror film franchise, Saw. Most recently he has appeared on Criminal Minds, Psych, Lie to Me, and on a multiple-episode arc on the second season of Californication.
