NBC Faces Lowest-Rated Monday of Season

ABC wins with "Dancing With the Stars," but its "20/20" Prince William-Kate Middleton royal wedding special is beat by CBS' "Hawaii 5-0."

Dancing With the Stars powered ABC to a Monday ratings win with a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Still, it was down 13 percent from last week and ranked as the net's lowest-rated spring performance telecast ever (3.9, 19.6 million). Cougar Town was down 15 percent in a new time slot versus its last original episode on Feb. 2 (2.3, 8.5 million) on a Wednesday at 9:30. ABC News' 20/20 special William & Catherine: A Modern Fairy Tale rated 1.7 with 7.7 million viewers.

Fox came in second with a 2.5 rating. House was flat (3.2, 8.6 million) and The Chicago Code was up 6 percent from last week (1.9, 6.4 million).

CBS was third with a 2.3 rating. How I Met Your Mother was (2.5, 6.4 million) was down 7 percent versus the April 11 episode, tying as its series low. Mad Love was flat, tying its series low (1.9, 5.6 million). As Charlie Sheen continues his tour across America, a rerun of Two and a Half Men rated 2.0 with 7.3 million viewers. Mike & Molly was flat with last week's 9 p.m. airtime, tying its series low (2.5, 9.7 million). Hawaii 5-0 beat ABC's Will & Kate special in the same time slot (2.6, 10.9 million), up 4 percent from last week.

Univision came in fourth with a 1.4 rating. Telenovelas Teresa rated 1.4 (3.4 million) and Triunfo del Amor rated 1.3 (3.6 million).

NBC faced its lowest-rated Monday of the season (1.1) despite having all original programming, coming in fifth. Chuck was flat with last week, (1.3, 4.2 million), The Event was down 15 percent vs. April 4 (1.1, 3.7 million) and Law & Order: L.A. was down 27 percent (1.1, 4.9 million). Each was a series low.
