Dolly Parton is getting called back for an encore.

The NBC telepic based on the legendary country singer's life, Coat of Many Colors, will air again on Christmas Day at 9 p.m. ET/PT, it was announced Wednesday.

The scheduling announcement comes less than a week after the TV movie opened to impressive numbers, drawing a 2.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 15.6 million viewers in live-plus-three figures.

Coat of Many Colors ranks as the highest-rated telepic on the four broadcast networks in more than four years.

NBC has been known to polish off successful specials for a second viewing. On Saturday, the network will air The Wiz Live! again following its big Dec. 3 premiere.
