NBC Sets Fall Premiere Dates: 'Michael J. Fox Show,' 'Parks and Rec' Get Hour Openers

The network staggers its launches starting Sept. 23 and into October with "Grimm."
"The Blacklist"

After using the Summer Olympics to sample new fare last year, NBC will launch the fall season in Premiere Week starting Monday, Sept. 23 with The Blacklist behind a two-hour launch of The Voice, with new and returning fare set to bow into October.

The network will also launch The Michael J. Fox Show with back-to-back episodes on Sept. 26, with Parks and Recreation -- one of only two returning comedies on the network -- also getting an hourlong launch the same night. NBC's premieres will go head-to-head with CBS' openers as the latter has set nearly all of its new and returning series to bow during the week of Sept. 23.

In a random coincidence, the Parks opener, featuring the cast in London, will launch an hour before CBS' Elementary returns with an episode also set in the home of Big Ben.
