'No Ordinary Family' Co-Star Headed to TNT's 'Perception' (Exclusive)

No Ordinary Family co-star Jimmy Bennett is heading to TNT's Perception.

The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively that the former super-powered teen on ABC's No Ordinary Family will appear in two late-season episodes of TNT's upcoming Eric McCormack drama Perception.

Bennett will play Alex Willingham, a lonely, depressed teen whose father died in an apparent suicide. Alex soon finds himself in over his head in an attempt to cover up the murder of a U.S. Senator.

Will & Grace's McCormack stars as Dr. Daniel Pierce, an eccentric neuroscientist and university professor with a unique way of seeing the world. Rachael Leigh Cook co-stars as an FBI agent -- and Pierce's former student -- who calls on him to help the feds solve complex criminal cases.

Bennett's credits include playing a young James T. Kirk in Star Trek as well as features Evan Almighty and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

Bennett is repped by Paradigm and Untitled.
