'Pretty Little Liars': First Season 6 Promo Promises "Summer of Answers" (Video)

Someone besides "A" is leaving notes for the girls.

Things aren't getting easier for the girls, judging by the first promo for Pretty Little Liars' sixth season.

The clip begins with Mona (Janel Parrish) singing "Hush, Little Baby," followed by various snippets showing a hooded figure lurking behind the Liars, Toby (Keegan Allen) drawing a gun and a voice shouting, "Don't leave me!"

One clue revealed in the teaser trailer is a note scrawled into a piece of wood that reads: "He's going to kill me," which is signed by "M." It sounds like we're going to learn more about Charles' murderous ways.

When executive producer Oliver Goldstick spoke to The Hollywood Reporter shortly after the season-five finale, he said that the series would show Charles' face by the end of the ten-episode summer season, promising that the identity would be a "shocker."

He confirmed that the Liars still would be captive in Charles' lair at the start of the season, saying, "They're stuck in there for a period of time, and we will basically revisit that period of time through their individual traumas throughout six A." Goldstick also promised that a "real juicy clue" would be revealed within the first few episodes of the season.

Pretty Little Liars' sixth season premieres Tuesday, June 2, at 8 p.m. on ABC Family. To read more from Goldstick, including details about new season-six romances, Jason's (Drew Van Acker) connection to Charles and the characters' upcoming time jump, click here.
