Privately, Prince Harry probably wishes he could forgo all public appearances after photos of his naked Las Vegas adventures leaked to the world.

But Harry, perhaps under pressure from the Queen to reform his image, has princely duties to honor: on Monday, the red-haired rogue stepped out for the first time since the scandal broke last month to speak at a London awards ceremony for WellChild, a U.K.-based charity supporting sick children and their families.

Looking conservative (and, yes, clothed), Harry donned a gray suit to the event, where he talked with children and gave a speech slyly referencing his Sin City behavior during which he admitted he's "not shy," The Associated Press reported.

"All of you — children, families, nurses, doctors, carers, volunteers — are, quite frankly, too remarkable for me adequately to describe with mere words but never one to be shy in coming forward, I’ll give it a go," he said, snorting with laughter.

Also on Monday: a 6-year-old boy who received an award from Harry had earlier told Britain's ITV News that he planned to tell Prince William's younger brother: "I'm glad you've got your clothes on." In the end, he chickened out (boo!).
