'Ray Donovan' Adds 'Entourage' Favorite for Season 5 (Exclusive)
Rhys Coiro is returning to the Hollywood hustle.
The Entourage favorite is set to appear in the upcoming fifth season of Showtime's Ray Donovan, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Coiro will be in at least two episodes as Rob Heard, a shady Hollywood manager who is married to a major star. He joins other season-five cast additions that include House of Cards' Michael Gill, Brian White (Scandal) and American Horror Story alum Adina Porter.
It's not a huge departure for the actor, who recurred throughout Entourage's eight-season run as the egotistical yet insecure film director Billy Walsh. Coiro also reprised his role for the 2015 Entourage film. His other credits include 24, Dexter, Graceland and upcoming films Finding Steve McQueen and The Life and Death of John Gotti, directed by Entourage star Kevin Connolly.
Coiro is repped by UTA, Silver Lining Entertainment and Bloom Hergott.
Headlined by Liev Schreiber, Ray Donovan continues to pull solid numbers for the pay cabler. However, showrunner David Hollander told THR in September that he is beginning to think of an endgame for the drama. "My first priority is to dream up a really gorgeous year five, to make sure it delivers a show that, should it live for a sixth, seventh or eighth season, will be satisfying to the audience and artists," he said.
