The castmembers of Friends — well, almost all of them — aren't the only ones getting back together to pay tribute to longtime TV director James Burrows.

NBC's upcoming primetime special, Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows, also will reunite the casts of classic sitcoms such as Cheers, Will & Grace and Taxi, and The Hollywood Reporter has an exclusive video of the latter reunion.

In the video from the special, which celebrates Burrows' 1,000 episodes behind the camera, the surviving members of Taxi look back on when Christopher Lloyd joined the sitcom full-time midway through season two.

As Tony Danza explains, it was a bit of a bumpy transition in the beginning. In addition to Lloyd himself, Danza is joined by Carol Kane, Marilu Henner. Judd Hirsch and Danny DeVito, who also shared a surprising anecdote about the cast's unusual, to say the least, rehearsal process.

Must See TV: An All-Star Tribute to James Burrows airs Sunday at 9 p.m. on NBC.
