Fox's FBI drama has cast its leading man.

Revenge alum Nick Wechsler has booked the male lead in the network's drama pilot Recon, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The drama centers on a rookie FBI agent (Revolution's Tracy Spiridakos) who embeds herself in a suspected terrorist family.

Wechsler will star as Freddie, a skillful and hardworking FBI agent who struggles with moral conflict while at the center of a key mission: sending Alexa (Spiridakos) undercover.

He joins a cast that also includes Alexander Siddig and Sarita Choudhury.

The Vampire Diaries showrunner Caroline Dries will pen the script and exec produce alongside The CW drama's Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec. Warner Bros. Television will produce the pilot alongside Williamson and his studio-based Outerbanks Entertainment banner. Adam Davidson will direct the pilot.

The role marks Wechsler's latest small-screen gig following NBC's The Player and ABC's Revenge. His credits include Roswell and Team Knight Rider. He's repped by Innovative Artists and Gilbertson Entertainment.
