Even though it seemed more like the roast of Ann Coulter, Comedy Central on Monday released clips from the Roast of Rob Lowe, previewing some jabs taken by Peyton Manning and Jewel at the actor, who's the latest to get roasted in a special on the cable network.

The roast, set to air on Labor Day, was taped Saturday night on the Sony Pictures lot and featured Manning, Jewel, Coulter, Pete Davidson, Rob Riggle, Jeff Ross (who was dressed as the late Prince), Jimmy Carr, Nikki Glaser, Ralph Macchio and roast master David Spade.

The roast made headlines after Coulter, who agreed to be on the dais so she could promote her new book, In Trump We Trust, was taken apart by one comic after another, many of whom said they legitimately hated her.

"Jeff Ross is going to party like it's 1999. Ann Coulter is going to vote like it's 1899," Jewel said of the conservative political commentator. "Ann, you do look great, though. You're almost as thin as Donald Trump's chance at winning the [presidential] election."

Manning, the retired Denver Broncos quarterback — who was the only roaster to not cuss — also took a shot at Coulter, but in the clips released Monday, he's shown zinging Lowe and New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady: "But hey, I don't worry about Rob Lowe. He is a workhorse. And hey man, if they ever stop casting you in sitcoms, just look on the bright side — you tried to take the air out of my retirement announcement so fast, you can probably get a job as Tom Brady's ballboy."
