Before Robin Williams wowed audience in everything from Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting to Hook and Night at the Museum, the late actor made one of his first appearances on ABC's Happy Days — an episode audiences can rediscover on Friday.

"My Favorite Orkan" will air twice on Friday, Aug. 15, at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET, on the Hub Network. The broadcast will also feature an on-air tribute to the actor, plus the alternate episode ending that led to the spinoff series Mork & Mindy.

Williams, who died Monday at 63, was cast as a bizarre alien on the season five episode of the classic sitcom, an appearance that helped to launch Williams' TV career. He played Mork, an alien from the planet Ork. The character proved so popular that it led to the spinoff, which aired from 1978 to 1982 on ABC.

Henry Winkler stopped by Today on Wednesday morning to speak about the notable episode. "All you see are sparks," said Winkler, doing his best Mork impression. "You knew you were in the presence of greatness. … This man was from another planet."
