Rosie O’Donnell Bashes Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Hints at 'View' Return on Twitter

While Elisabeth Hasselbeck has seemingly remained silent since she lashed out at Rosie O’Donnell and rumors of her View return on Wednesday morning’s Fox & Friends, O’Donnell kept tweeting about Hasselbeck and the ABC daytime show on Wednesday night.

O’Donnell briefly responded to Hasselbeck’s Fox & Friends rant on Twitter Wednesday morning, calling her comments “shocking” in response to a tweet from Entertainment Tonight. She continued responding to Twitter mentions and replies on Wednesday night.

With respect to Hasselbeck, O’Donnell indicated that she initiated the interaction with her at The View’s reunion show, writing, “she was hiding in her dressing room—til i walked right in and said hello—her reply LETS TAKE A SELFIE !!”

She also responded to a tweet to her and Hasselbeck that said, “way to spin words by saying you spit in faces of our servicemen.”

O’Donnell wrote: “think she has donated any money to the armed services ???? Hmmmmm”

The former View co-host also responded to tweets referencing her rumored return to the show, which neither she nor the show have confirmed.

When one user wrote “@Rosie was a true progressive voice on the view during a very non-progressive time in our country. Soooo glad you're back,” she replied simply, “thank u.”

She also retweeted a tweet from actor-writer Fred Stoller, who wrote “LeBron possibly returning to the Cavilers. What’s next, @Rosie returning to The View?!”

When asked how she would work with executive producer Bill Geddie, O’Donnell wrote “stay tuned.”

She even weighed in on a possible co-host, when one user wrote, “Please consider Martha Plimpton for the View.” O’Donnell replied, “I would love that.”
