Fox's 24 is adding an Emmy winner to its cast.

Scandal grad Dan Bucatinsky has joined the cast of 24: Legacy, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Also boarding the Fox pilot are Mad Men's Charlie Hofheimer and Blue Bloods' Coral Pena.

The new take features an all-new cast of characters and will be structured in the same style of the original series. 24: Legacy revolves around a military hero's (Straight Outta Compton's Corey Hawkins) return to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back — compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.

Bucatinsky, who won an Emmy for his guest turn on the Shonda Rhimes drama series Scandal, will play Andy, a communication analyst at CTU who has enjoyed Rebecca's (Miranda Otto) trust and is unhappily paired with a bright, young, self-taught Gia (Pena) — a computer analyst. She is eager to prove that she is better than others. Hofheimer will portray Marcus, Eric's (Hawkins) former partner in the Army Ranger unit who is now suffering from PTSD. All three roles are series regulars.

For Bucatinsky, the role marks his return to drama following NBC comedy Marry Me. He is repped by CAA, Sanders Armstrong Caserta Management and Myman Greenspan. Pena is repped by Innovative and MZ.MGMT.NY; Hofheimer is with Paradigm and Forward Entertainment.

24 alums Manny Coto and Evan Katz will pen the script and executive produce alongside Howard Gordon and Brian Grazer. Stephen Hopkins will direct the pilot for 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine TV and Gordon's Teakwood Lane.

Bucatinsky, Pena and Hofheimer join a cast that also includes Teddy Sears, Anna Diop and Jimmy Smits.
