'Schitt's Creek' Repeats to Air on Comedy Central
On the heels of tis Emmy sweep, the ViacomCBS-owned cable network will begin airing all six seasons starting Friday, Oct. 2. Every week, the cabler will air five episodes.
The move comes as no surprise as Schitt's Creek previously aired on another ViacomCBS-owned cable network: Pop TV. The niche cable network no longer has any original programming — or dedicated executives — and is now a home for syndicated repeats. Both Pop TV and Comedy Central are part of ViacomCBS' Entertainment & Youth Group, which is overseen by president Chris McCarthy.

Seasons one through five can also be streamed for free on CW Seed. The sixth and final season will be available beginning Oct. 7 on the platform. The final season also arrives on Netflix in October.
McCarthy is looking to boost Comedy Central's profile with a series of animated updates including Beavis & Butt-Head. The cable network has a greater distribution than Pop.
