The annual "Treehouse of Horror" episode of The Simpsons was down year to year in Sunday's ratings, and ABC's Alec Baldwin Show continued to struggle.

The Simpsons posted a 1.3 rating among adults 18-49 for the 29th "Treehouse of Horror" in time zone-adjusted fast nationals, down 19 percent from the 1.6 for last year's installment. The show was up week to week (vs. 1.0 on Oct. 14), as was the rest of the network's lineup. Bob's Burgers improved by four-tenths of a point to 1.3, Family Guy rose two-tenths to 1.1 and Rel ticked up a tenth to 0.6.

The Alec Baldwin Show posted a 0.4 in the 18-49 demo, even with last week's preliminary rating (it adjusted down to 0.3 in the finals). It improved a little in total viewers (2.19 million vs. 2.07 million). On the brighter side for ABC, Shark Tank improved a bit to 0.8, its second straight week of growth, and Dancing With the Stars: Juniors equaled last week's 0.8.

Sunday Night Football delivered an 11.0 household rating in metered markets for Kansas City's blowout win over Cincinnati, down about 13 percent from the same night a year ago. It's the first year-to-year decline for SNF since the opening week of the season; overall Sunday, preliminary NFL ratings are up 4 percent vs. 2017, led by big numbers for Dallas-Washington in the CBS late-afternoon window.

That big NFL lead-in drove improved numbers for CBS' primetime lineup: Pending updates, 60 Minutes (2.7 in 18-49, 14.5 million viewers), God Friended Me (1.3, 9.21 million), NCIS: Los Angeles (1.0, 8.14 million) and Madam Secretary (0.7, 6.45 million) are all up vs. the previous week.

The CW came down a little from its premiere night a week ago, with both Supergirl and Charmed posting 0.4 ratings in the 18-49 demo.

NBC led the 18-49 rankings for the night with a 3.8 rating, pending updates. CBS is second at 2.0, also pending updates, followed by Fox, 1.0; ABC, 0.7 and The CW, 0.4.
