The Halloween episode of Saturday Night Live was very focused on the imminent presidential election.

Weekend Update tackled the election as well as COVID-19, touching on Trump’s baseless claim that doctors make money off of COVID. Colin Jost said it was bold of Trump to be disparaging doctors given that he was just treated by them after the president's own COVID diagnosis.

Jost also shared the statistics about Trump rallies leading to increases in COVID-19 spread. He noted that it seems like the president is trying to kill his own supporters.

"I don’t know what this world’s going to be after Tuesday," Michael Che said. He joked that he and Jost might be on opposite sides of a race war after the election. "You just married Scarlett Johansson and I just bought an electric bike. I feel like we’re doing equally great," he said to his co-host.

Che also talked about the NYPD officer who was suspended after announcing "Trump 2020" over his loudspeaker, joking that officers were "only allowed to whisper Trump 2020 after choking someone out."

In a tribute to The Mandalorian season two during the Weekend Update segment, Kyle Mooney reprised his role as Baby Yoda. During the sketch, Mooney's Baby Yoda shared that he has been spending his summer "quarantining with Jake Paul, Mia Khalifa and Wreck-It Ralph." He also teased that for the second season of The Mandalorian, the writers came up with some "fuego ideas," however, he wishes they'd let him dance.

He also quipped that he is shocked when he reads his DM's on social media. "You want to do what to Baby Yoda?" he said.
