Spike has ordered a 20-episode first season, which is set to premiere Saturday, July 9, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

In addition to Jail: Las Vegas, which premiered last year on Spike after originally launching on MyNetwork TV in 2007, Langley Productions also is behind the long-running unscripted hit Cops. The latter has called Spike home since 2013.

Jail is the latest franchise for Spike. The cable network also has the upcoming Lip Sync Battle spinoff Lip Sync Battle Jr., and the Tattoo Nightmares series.
