Mimi Rogers - P 2015

Starz's Ash vs. Evil Dead is adding a very familiar face to its ranks.

Mimi Rogers is set to appear in the upcoming sequel series, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Rogers will play Suzy Maxwell, a woman who is reunited with her family and several uninvited guests after a freak accident. Suzy is the mother of Kelly (series regular Dana DeLorenzo), a moody wild child trying to outrun her past.

Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as the title character Ash, an aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. However, when a Deadite plague threatens to destroy mankind, Ash is forced to face his demons — both personal and literal.

Campbell will also exec produce the series with the original film's producer, Rob Tapert, the film's director Sam Raimi, as well as showrunner Craig DiGregorio (Workaholics). Raimi will also direct the first episode that he wrote with DiGregorio, Tom Spezialy (Chuck) and co-exec producer Ivan Raimi (Army of Darkness). Aaron Lam and Chloe Smith (Spartacus) will serve as producers.
